I’m Michael Caraway: licensed insurance agent and insurance agency owner based in Castle Rock, Colorado. I created Colorado Insurance Guide and personally write all of the content you’ll find on this site because Coloradans deserve some clarity on how to navigate the confusing and wild insurance market in Colorado.

Most content you’ll find on insurance in Colorado was written by content teams located in other states that have no clue the nuances of Colorado and instead work off the same recycled national talking points they use in every other state. We know Colorado Insurance, and we get the nuances and frustrations Coloradans are experiencing, so we create content that is actually relevant, useful and actionable for Colorado insurance customers.

My family and I live in Castle Rock, Colorado. That means when I write about why hail deductibles are so important or why uninsured motorist coverage is a necessity, I can speak firsthand.
